In this, his third collection, Lorenzo Castillo has emphasised new techniques which allow for the combination of texture and pattern.
This includes Hand Sketched Picasso style designs, Spanish Iron grids from the Carlos IV late 18th century period, Pop Art designs (typical Lorenzo) from the late 1960's period and a printed Japanese floral linen inspired by Arts and Crafts.
Upholstery weights are also launched using jacquard velvets in labyrinth, dimensional spirals and honeycomb designs.
On a more personal level, there is also a design called MENDILIBAR which is a brick shaped velvet inspired from a façade of an early 1920's house in Asturias, Lorenzo's home town.
Lorenzo maintains his specific colour palette ; emerald greens, navy, chocolate and dark grey ; he considers these colours fully representative of high end decoration.
In addition this year more relaxing tones have been introduced ; grey, beige, taupe and marble white.
